About GTA Tarping INC
GTA Tarping INC helps home builders protect new construction through winter and get critical façade scopes done right: winter scaffolding tarping, Tyvek and Blueskin, exterior insulation, power washing and brick ties.
Our story
GTA Tarping INC was incorporated in November 2017. Our focus is the work that keeps GTA home builds moving through the cold months and gets the façade ready for cladding and closing: wrapping scaffolds so masons can keep laying brick, installing the air and water barrier, insulation and brick ties, and cleaning the exterior before PDI.
What we do and don't do
We do: winter scaffolding tarping, Tyvek house wrap and Blueskin air barrier, exterior insulation, brick tie installation, and power washing for new construction and older homes.
We don't: erect or engineer scaffolding, lay brick, supply windows or cladding, or do interior work. We coordinate with the trades who do.
How we work with site supers and masons
Masonry contractors are an essential part of how GTA homes get built, and we keep that co-trade reality in how we schedule. We confirm the sequence with your site super, work an elevation ahead of the masons, and keep communication simple: who's on site, what's done, what's next.
Crew, equipment and safety
We work under Ontario's Occupational Health and Safety Act and O. Reg. 213/91 (Construction Projects), including the rules for heaters in tarped enclosures. Crews wear PPE and hi-vis and keep work zones clear of other trades. For pre-qualification documents, see Safety, insurance and compliance.
Where we work
We serve builders across the Greater Toronto Area: York Region, the City of Toronto, Peel, Durham and Halton, plus Niagara Region and Simcoe County. See service areas.
Trusted partner
Our work keeps the outside of the house tight: Tyvek, Blueskin and exterior insulation. For the inside, we recommend Duct Sealing GTA. Their Aeroseal-certified technicians test your ductwork, seal leaks from the inside without opening walls, then test again, which helps with weak airflow and uneven room temperatures. They serve homes across the GTA.
