Power washing for new and existing homes

We power wash new homes for GTA builders before PDI and closing, and we restore older brick and stone homes. Brick, stone, concrete, driveways and walkways are cleaned with low pressure and the cleaner the brick or stone manufacturer recommends. Single homes or whole phases, anywhere in the GTA. Call 905-251-0101.

The exterior is the first thing a buyer sees at the pre-delivery inspection (PDI). Mortar smears, mud and construction dust on new brick make a finished home look unfinished. We clean it so it presents the way it was built.

We also restore older brick and stone homes, using the same low-pressure, test-first approach.

What we clean

  • Brick and stone veneer: mortar smears, efflorescence and construction grime on new homes; efflorescence, grime and mortar haze on older homes
  • Concrete: driveways, walkways, porches, steps and garage floors
  • Foundations and window wells: mud and splash-back
  • Sills, trim and soffits: construction dust and debris, or built-up dirt on older homes

What's not included: interior cleaning, window glass polishing, landscaping, and repairs to masonry or concrete (including repointing). We're a cleaning crew, not a masonry contractor.

Low-pressure methods and manufacturer-approved cleaners

High pressure can damage masonry, new or old: it can erode mortar joints, etch brick faces and drive water into the wall. We use low-pressure rinsing, do a test patch first and use the cleaner your brick or stone manufacturer recommends for mortar smears. On older homes, where the original brick or stone product often isn't known, the test patch matters even more. Crews wear hi-vis and PPE, and we mark off wash zones so other trades aren't working in the spray.

PDI and closing timing

The best time to wash is after masonry, grading and exterior trades are finished, and before the PDI. Too early and the next trade dirties it again; too late and you're rushing the day before the buyer walks through. Send us your PDI and closing dates and we'll schedule each home in the right window.

Protecting windows, doors and landscaping

We cover or shield windows, doors, light fixtures and electrical outlets, and we cover landscaping and sod where cleaner could reach it. Runoff is managed so it doesn't pool against the foundation or run into the neighbour's lot.

Multi-lot scheduling

On production phases we work from your closing schedule, grouping homes by street so one crew moves through efficiently. You get a simple list of homes cleaned each visit, which your site super can check against the PDI calendar.

Restoring older brick and stone homes

Lived-in homes build up efflorescence (the white, chalky bloom on brick), grime and mortar haze over the years. We restore older brick and stone homes with the same approach we use on new builds: low pressure, a test patch first and a cleaner suited to the masonry. Driveways, walkways, porches and steps can be done on the same visit.

Washing cleans the surface; it doesn't fix cracked brick or failing mortar joints. We're not a masonry contractor, so if we see loose or damaged joints we'll point them out before we wash, and you can have a mason look at them first.

PDI-ready checklist (download)

Use our PDI-ready exterior checklist to walk each home before booking washing. It covers brick, stone, concrete, windows and landscaping, and you can print it or save it as a PDF from your browser.

We wash new and older homes across the GTA, including Brampton, Pickering, Vaughan and Newmarket.

Related services: brick tie installation and winter scaffolding tarping. For winter phases, see our winter construction checklist.

What to send us for a washing quote

  • Builders: addresses or lot numbers, and PDI and closing dates
  • Older homes: the address, a few photos of the areas to clean and roughly when the house was built
  • Surfaces to clean (brick, stone, concrete, garage floors)
  • The brick or stone manufacturer and product, if you know it, so we use the recommended cleaner
  • Access notes, such as water supply on site and whether landscaping is already in

Before and after

Mortar smears, efflorescence and grime come off with low-pressure washing and the right cleaner, whether it's a new build before PDI or an older brick home we're restoring.

Power washing FAQ

Will power washing damage new brick?

It can if the pressure is too high. We use low pressure, test first and follow the brick manufacturer's cleaning recommendations.

Do you clean older or existing homes?

Yes. We restore older brick and stone homes, removing efflorescence, grime and mortar haze with low pressure and a test patch first. Send a few photos or call 905-251-0101 for a quote.

Is power washing safe for older brick?

With the right method, yes. Older brick and mortar can be softer than new, so we keep the pressure low, test a small patch first and won't wash joints that are already loose or crumbling.

Can you remove mortar smears?

Yes, using the cleaner your brick or stone manufacturer recommends, applied and rinsed at low pressure.

When should I book washing before PDI?

After masonry, grading and exterior trades are done, and before the PDI. Send us your PDI dates and we'll schedule to them.

Do you wash driveways and garage floors?

Yes. Concrete driveways, walkways, porches and garage floors are part of our standard scope.

Can you do a whole phase?

Yes. We schedule multi-lot phases from your closing calendar.
